Image of the Day: Becak Craziness, Yogyakarta, Central Java, Indonesia

Becaks are a great way to get around town or for short distances. It’s a bit hard on the lungs as a passenger when you are caught in a traffic jam or stopped at the lights as the fumes from cars, motorbikes and trucks is overwhelming.

The good thing about becaks is that you have an unspoiled view of the road in front of you. This is great if you want to take fotos!. As you can see in the foto, I snapped this image as we approached the Alun-alun in Yogyakarta.
