Floods Displace Thousands: Sumatra, Indonesia
Although the coming of the rainy season provides relief from the searing heat of the hot season, and gives an added boost to farmers, it also brings floods.
According to the latest news report, Government and aid agencies are moving food, water and medical aid to hundreds of thousands forced into temporary shelters by floods and landslides on Indonesia’s Sumatra island.
