Security Upgrade at Indonesian Churches: Indonesia

Username By Barrie | December 19th, 2006 | Comments No Comments

Xmas in the year 2000 in Yogyakarta is one time I will not forget. The coordinated bombings of churches and other places across Java was atrocious.

And now, for Xmas this year, thousands of police will guard Christian churches across the country over the Christmas holidays. Being the world’s most populous Muslim country, there is an existence of religious division.

Even the U.S. Embassy has warned that terrorists could carry out strikes targeting Westerners and this could be anywhere. May be the peace of Xmas prevail.
